1. What is Zicelo

Zicelo is a voice dictation and meeting notes service: the Windows program, Android app, Chrome extension, the web app at zicelo.ro, and the associated API (“Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Account

• Accounts are created with an email address; you log in with a one-time code. You are responsible for access to your email address.
• You must be at least 16 years old. If you use Zicelo on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the right to represent it.
• In teams, admins can add or remove members, change data policies, and view usage stats (not members’ transcription content).

3. Packages and payments

• The Free Package has limits listed on the Pricing page. Paid packages are billed monthly or yearly in advance, per seat (person).
• Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. After cancellation, the package remains active until the end of the paid period; payments are not refunded pro-rata, except where legally required.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from the next billing period.
• AI credits and included minutes reset monthly and cannot be carried over.

4. Your content

Your dictations, recordings, transcripts, and notes belong to you. You grant us permission to process them as needed to provide the Service (transcription, cleanup, summaries, search, sending to integrations you choose). How we process them is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Recording others

When recording a meeting, call, or using a voice agent, you are responsible for informing participants and obtaining their consent where the law requires it. The voice agents’ public page requires consent before conversation starts.

6. Acceptable use

• Don’t use Zicelo for illegal activities, to harass, deceive, or record anyone unlawfully.
• Don’t try to bypass package limits, access others’ accounts, or disrupt the Service. Security issues can be reported via bug bounty.
• Don’t resell access to the Service without our written permission.

7. AI and accuracy

Transcripts, summaries, and assistant responses are automatically generated and may contain errors. Check important info (numbers, names, deadlines) before relying on it.

8. Availability and changes

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change, or remove features; we’ll notify you in advance of major changes.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, data loss caused by third-party services).

10. Termination

You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved amicably or, if not possible, by competent courts in Romania. Consumers may also use the European SOL platform.
